Answer Workplace HR & Safety June 2007 CSHM Quiz Online!

Workplace HR & Safety offers this monthly quiz for which Certified Safety and Health Managers (CSHMs) can gain continuation of certification (COC) credits. The Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM) has approved 0.1 point per quiz for a possible total of 1.2 points per year. Workplace HR & Safety offers 12 quizzes per year. The articles will be published in the print publication, except for the January, March, April, May, July and November quizzes and articles, which will be posted only on the Workplace HR & Safety Web site at compliancemag.com. CSHMs may begin the program at any time during the year.

After reading the articles listed on the quiz page, answer the quiz online. You may also send the quiz to us by fax at (804) 217-8999. To order back issues or to get a free subscription to the publication, call our circulation customer service department at (888) 246-8484. You may also subscribe online at http://www.compliancemag.com. We will send verification by e-mail to each CSHM who completes the quizzes, so please provide your e-mail address in your contact information listed after the quiz. The fee is $12 per quiz or $80 for unlimited CSHM quizzes in 2007. Payment must be made by credit card. Requests for verifications not received previously or questions about verifications will be handled by e-mail at CEServices@douglaspublications.com. If a CSHM wishes to receive guaranteed 24-hour turnaround of a verification, the charge will be $25 per verification.

Through its certification program, the Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM) promotes the advancement of safety management through the application of management principles and the integration of safety into all levels and activities of an organization. The CSHM program recognizes the safety and health professionals who demonstrate knowledge of health and safety management skills and techniques through examination and experience.
